1. Birthplace:
   Santiago de Chile.
2. How old were you when you started playing? Why?
   At age 14, for two reasons: at that time my brother was learning guitar, and I had the immediate motivation to accompany it with an instrument. Coincident with this, I had started listening to Iron Maiden and I was captivated by the leading role of the bass. 
3. What make was your first instrument and what was it like? 
   A Furi Peavey, it was a  4-string Precision style model, maple neck, 21 spaces, white body and black pickguard, passive, a split coil, two controls (volume and tone) and made in USA. A good start.
4. The first concert you attended: 
   The first Monster of Rock in Chile show (1994): Slayer, Black Sabbath and Kiss.
5. Musical Influences: 
   As a composer, everything. From the interpretation perspective, I have assimilated technical resources from Stuart Hamm, Billy Sheehan, Alexis Sklarevski, Les Claypool, Lorenzo Forti and Victor Wooten.
6. Musical studies:
   Escuela Moderna de Música (Modern Music School) graduate, Bass Instrumental Performer mention.
7. Favorite music style: 
   None in particular.
8. Favorite Albums: 
   Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son", Pink Floyd's "The Wall", The Beatles's "The White Album", Johnny Cash's "American III: Solitary Man" y "American IV: The Man Comes Around", Le Orme's "Felona e Sorona", Joni Mitchell's "Shadows and Lights".
9. The best concert you have attended:
   Iron Maiden's "Somewhere back in time world tour 2008".
10. Opus 3`s favorite song and why:
    Whenever I find myself writing, for the adventure, the risks involved, and the knowledge that will help me to continue maturing as a composer. From "Opus 3" CD, without doubt it´s "Creatures of the Night", I feel it's the one that brings together the best proposal from that stage aesthetic.
11. Favorite Movies:
    Terminator II, The Silence of the Lambs, Der Untergang, American History X, Eyes Wide Shut, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
12. Favorite food:
    Chocolate.
13. Philosophy of life:
    Music is my life; I find the meaning of my existence in it. The artist transcends in the extent that he or she is capable of genuinely placing his being in the artwork; this is the ideal I pursue as a composer and performer.
